Being a Rainbow, Brownie, or Guide is lots of fun and a great way of making friends.
1st Felbridge (St John’s) Rainbows Brownies and Guides meet weekly in the church hall.
Rainbows
Rainbows are girls aged five to seven years old. Being a Rainbow is all about having lots of fun. At our meetings, we do many things like play games, go outside, make things, sing songs and listen to stories. Most of all Rainbows look, learn, laugh and love. Sometimes we go to special places, or have parties. There are always exciting things to do, and it is great seeing your Rainbow friends.
Brownies
Brownies is all about having loads of fun and a huge adventure! To be a Brownie you just have to be a girl aged between seven and ten years old. Brownies get to try new things from cooking to craft to climbing and weekends away.
Guides
Guides are a group of girls aged ten and over and there are millions of us around the world! We get together regularly to do many exciting things and generally have a good laugh. Guides go places, and we do not just mean down the high street. We are talking serious national and international travel. Guides get a say and make things happen. As Guides, we look out for our mates and ourselves. We also get to make great friends out of school.
It is never too early to put your daughters name down on the waiting list for Rainbows or Brownies as the sooner your daughter’s name is down on our waiting list the sooner she will get a place when she is the right age. For more details

2010 saw the start of a busy year for the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides at Felbridge with lots of new and exciting events planned to celebrate the Centenary of Girlguiding UK. 2010 also marks the 60th Birthday of Brownies and Guides at Felbridge!
The Rainbows and Guides are looking for people to come and join the fun of the Girlguiding UK Centenary with them. If you like craft, adventure, fun, games, friendship, and being part of a team then this could be for you. Rainbows are aged 5-7 years, and Guides are 10- 14 years old.
Both units are looking for Adult leaders to join them at Felbridge on Friday evenings.
Without any new helpers the units may have to close! Guides are also looking for new members, girls ages 10 – 14 years, to join them, and are planning on holding an open night for those interested in joining. Waiting lists for Rainbows and Brownies – It’s never too early to put your daughter’s name down for Rainbows and Brownies as the sooner their name is on the waiting list, the sooner they will get a place when they reach the right age - spaces permitting. For more details on either helping with any of the units at Felbridge, putting names down on the waiting list, or to find out more about joining Guides or their open night, please contact Mrs Ann Tucker or email
