NOTICES

1. This sheet is to last for all of August so please keep  it and the prayer diary to use each week.
2. 1st stage of approval from the Diocese for replacement windows/doors for the hall, has been given. See notices in porch/ on glass door to hall.
3. The regular Sunday school groups are having a break in August. For the weeks when it is not family service, there will be a ‘combo’ in the hall for any children who are there. Visiting children are very welcome to join in. Thank you to those that are running these joint sessions. Usual groups restart on 12th September.
4. The evening services in September will all start at the new time of 6.00pm. The Raise the Roof service will be incorporated into the regular service pattern and will be on the third Sunday of each month at 6.00pm.
5. Home Groups: Please do sign up to join a Home Group this autumn on the lists in Church from 15th August. Any questions to Michael (312406).
6. Home Group Central: Puddings and Prayer - Monday 6th September (7:45pm) in the Church Hall. Yummy puddings and an introduction to our Autumn Home Group series on prayer. Everyone welcome, especially all those intending to join a Home Group this Autumn. Contact: Michael (312406).
7. Our mission focus during August is on Scripture Union. Please pray for all the Camps and holiday activities they run during the summer holidays, and speak to Gill Matson for more information or if you would like to order Bible Reading Notes.

    11th September  Kayaking for beginners(10 yrs & above) on Weirwood reservoir, 2.00-3.30pm. Cost £7-00. Contact Gordon on 311516.
    2nd October  Harvest Supper- book the date!! 3rd October  Harvest Thanksgiving with speaker John Archer from Tearfund.
11. Change of date –the Church Army weekend will now be on 30/31st October with Philip Johanson to preach at the 6.00pm Evening service.
