The vicar is available to conduct funerals of parishioners or others with links with St John’s.

The service can be held in the church if that is the wish of the next of kin.  In the case of burials, we are sorry to have to inform you that our churchyard has been closed for burials by Order in Council, neither is there any more space for interment of ashes.  The only exception in either case is where an existing plot is to be re-opened.  In the case of cremations, there can be a service in church followed by committal at the Crematorium, or else the whole service can be conducted there.

Arrangements are usually made through the Funeral Director that you have chosen, but you can always contact the vicar directly if you need any advice or help.
