As we look around week by week we are grateful that God is blessing and using St. John's to reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ. Consider for a moment the size of the congregation, the various activities associated with the church. It will not be a surprise to you that running a church costs a lot of money, currently around £1,500 per week. If you would like to know more about how this money is used, ask for a copy of our brochure on TRIO – The Responsibility Is Ours.

We rejoice and praise God that the financial needs of St. John’s have been met in the past through the giving of the members of the church. As Christians, we have a responsibility before God in the way we use all that has been entrusted to us. This includes money and as partners in the work of the gospel we have a collective responsibility to ensure that the church's costs are adequately met.

The church can now claim 28% of the gift back in the form of a tax refund. There are several practical methods of giving, but the majority of the members of St. John's give to the church in one or more of the following ways: Direct Debit or Standing Order [Link to standard form for completion] in favour of St. John's Church, Felbridge. Payments can be made monthly, quarterly or annually. Contact the Church Treasurer by email or ask at the Vicarage Office.

Cash gift during services, with or without an envelope. Note: the use of an envelope (available in church) for making one-off gifts enables the offering to be included within the church’s tax reclaim and makes it worth almost 30% more! For those people that wish to put aside a weekly amount for bringing to church, a pack of 52 envelopes can be obtained from the Vicarage Office.
For further details about giving to St. John's, please talk to the Church Treasurer or Church Wardens who will be happy to answer any queries.
