Mark Francis

Vicar at St John’s since 2013.

Mark is married to Sarah, and they have two teenage daughters. He became a Christian as a teenager.

Mark grew up not far from here in Tunbridge Wells with his Mum, Dad and two brothers. Before training to be a vicar in 2007, he did various jobs from Postman to Overseas Missionary and from Youth Worker to Geophysicist. He was then ordained in 2010 and moved to St John’s in 2013. When not at work, Mark enjoys just hanging out with his family, or you may find him on his bike, out for a run or swimming in a lake. Mark is grateful to those who helped him understand Jesus and why he matters to us today, and he loves to help others to do the same.
