Our society faces tensions and challenges in a way not present for some time. We pray for calm and common sense to prevail, Lord, and positive attitudes applied to resolving issues across society with much-needed equanimity. The global political climate is deeply disquieted at this time with wars in numerous places; therefore, we pray for peace, if that be your will ,or your hand of blessing upon those caught up in hostilities .
