All Saints/ All Hallows Eve rather than Halloween is the day for us to pray earnestly for light and peace not the secular ignorant embracing of a ghoulish world that is literally of the Devil far removed from being a bit of harmless fun. We seek your blessing upon the Light Party run by Roxi this afternoon ,may those organising and running the event pitch the message well and those attending enjoy an event worthy of your praise. On this day in 1517 Martin Luther nailed his “Ninety-Five Theses” to the door of Wittenberg Parish Church , effectively beginning the Protestant Reformation. Lord we know your church has been rocked by internal and external ructions throughout its existence therefore we thank you for your constant unchanging presence amid the turmoil around us.
