St John's Calendars

As the shortest month comes to an end we know you are outside time and that “…a day is like a thousand years..” to you (2 Peter 3:8). We give thanks for your omnipresent presence , knowing you are everywhere waiting for us to call upon you in prayer . May your hand be on us in an often troubled society steering us forward as your children. Let those who are now putting themselves up for election , to various local councils in May, do so with selfless motives and servant hearts. We pray for receptive but discerning minds to all points of view candidates might express, with peacefulness and dignity in the electoral process.
