Tearfund has a dual role; it responds rapidly to crises and disasters in 'third-world' countries, providing food, shelter and medical aid, and also expertise in reconstruction; but also training in sustainability and response levels. They have a vital teaching role in agriculture, development, and health protection. Pray for all their staff in potentially difficult situations.
