St John's Calendars

Today we pray for the thousands of young people, some within our church community, who receive their “A” (Advanced) level results from examinations earlier this summer. Careers and immediate future hopes and aspirations depend on the results. Therefore Father, if it be your will, let those opening an email be joyful and filled with positivity. For those disappointed , even distraught, with less than hoped for news be aware of your presence in their time of solace. We pray for parents, siblings, family members and teachers all of whom share in good or not so good news at this time and give them a calmness only your spirit can bestow to ensure the young students keep a true perspective on their lives.
