We hear a lot about Syria on the world news, as the civil war has gone on for 14 years. The renewed violence has caused civilian deaths, mass displacement and the breakdown of an already-fragile ceasefire. Almost 200,000 people, mostly women and children, have been displaced, and millions are still entirely reliant on humanitarian aid. Lord, have mercy.
