St John's Calendars

2nd is Somalia, where Islamic oppression makes it difficult and dangerous to be a Christian, and openly following Jesus is impossible and it is illegal under Sharia law to convert from Islam to Christianity. We pray for those who do, and are usually disowned by their family, and sometimes executed by them. Christians have no legal protection, and are under surveillance, harassment and intimidation. Lord, have mercy.
