Heavenly Father, as voting closes tomorrow in the Church of England’s General Synod elections, we pray on for faithful, orthodox clergy and laity to be elected. We pray specifically for an orthodox majority in both the house of clergy and the house of laity, and for a General Synod led by your word and seeking your will in all its deliberations and decision-making.
