Hannah's Dragons

Event Date: 14th Sep 2008 NCYPE's DragonBoat Racing

THE FAMILY of St John's knows and loves Hannah, the Toogood's daughter, who was born with several forms of serious epilepsy. This has caused her to have severe learning difficulties and some physical impairment. Hannah is loud, funny, loving, caring and mostly a bit of a monkey - but she has a great sense of humour and is larger than life! For the last four years, Hannah has had the privilege of attending the National School for Young People with Epilepsy, which (as the name suggests) is the UK's leading provider of education, care and health services for young people who have a form of epilepsy or other neurological conditions. These services are not only unique, they are essential.

Some of her family and friends have formed a Dragon Boat team to raise money for Hannah and the NCYPE.   Some of us (they say) are overweight, some decrepit, the majority are unfit and to a man are land lubbers - but rest assured we will be flying the red pennant . . . . no quarter given!

If you would like to support them you can make a donation by visiting this website: http://www.justgiving.com/hannahsdragons
