APCM 19th May 2026
The Annual Meeting of Parishioners and the Annual Parochial Church Meeting, usually just referred to as the ‘APCM’, are held by the end of May each year and are an opportunity to review the activities at St John’s during the previous year, in this case 2025. They are also the occasion for nominating and appointing churchwardens each year, representatives to the Deanery Synod, and Parochial Church Council (PCC) members when vacancies exist.
The APCM for 2026 will be held in the church at 20:00 on May 19th.
Various formal notices must be posted in the church before the meetings take place, and they will be found at the appropriate time in both the north and south porches and by the hall entrance. Links to Nomination Forms for the positions of Churchwardens and PCC members appear below – paper versions will be available in church on the table to the left of the north porch exit. In addition, copies of this year’s Agenda, last year’s APCM Minutes and the reports covering 2025 appear below. A limited number of printed versions will be available in church for a while before the APCM, but attendees are encouraged, where possible, to download the attached file to save paper!
Before the APCM, we will revise the St John’s Electoral Roll, and the new role will also appear on the porches.
