What should I wear?
There is no dress code! Please come wearing whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
What does a standard service involve?
Standard service will involve reading the Bible, a sermon, songs, and prayers. Around the church, large screens display notices, words for songs and responses to prayers. Please feel free to join in with the songs or prayers if you would like, but there is no compulsion to do so. The person at the front will explain everything that happens and tell you when to stand or sit.
Where should I sit?
You can sit wherever you like! As we don't have special seats. However, you will be welcomed at the door by a friendly member of the church who would happily direct you to a free chair if we are getting full.
Is there any parking?
There is ample parking in the church car park, around the back of the church and hall. If the church car park is full, we have an agreement with the Premier Inn opposite the church, so you are welcome to park there if needed.
What happens after the service?
Usually, we bring complimentary tea, coffee, fruit squash, and biscuits into the church. After the service, take time to mingle, chat, and get to know people. In addition, once a month after the service, there is a prayer meeting in the hall which you are welcome to join. See 'Prayer' for more details.
What if I'm late?
Please don't worry if you are late - just come in; a friendly church member will welcome you at the door and show you a free seat if needed.
Is there disabled access?
Yes, there is step-free access to the church, and a ramp is available to access the hall.
