Which service should I come to?

We have two services on a Sunday at 10 am and 6 pm. Please come along to whichever suits you best. They have a slightly different style, and the 'Services' section of the website will give you a few more details. There is also a fortnightly midweek service at 2 pm on Mondays and an online congregation meeting on zoom at 8 pm on Monday evenings.

Are children welcome?

Yes, absolutely! We love to have children and young people at the church and do all we can to make things easy and accessible for them. Once a month, there's an All Age Service at 10 am, and on the other Sundays, there are our children's groups in the hall for 3-11s and a creche room set up for parents of younger children to access if they wish. In addition, there is a sofa area at the back of the church. There you will find some toys and extra space for children to move around during the service. In addition, the youth group meets during the 6 pm service for 11-18s.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code! Please wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

What does a normal service involve?

Each service will include a Bible reading, a talk, songs, and prayers. Around the church, large screens display notices, words for songs and responses to prayers. Please feel free to join in with the songs or prayers if you would like, or just come to sit and listen. The service leader will explain everything that happens from the front and let people know when to stand or sit. If it helps, you can watch a service online before you come to give you an idea of what to expect.

Where should I sit?

You can sit wherever you like, as we don't have special seats. You will be welcomed at the door by a friendly member of the church, and if there is anything you would like to know when you arrive, feel free to ask them.

Is there any parking?

There is ample parking in the car park around the back of the church and hall. However, if the church car park is full, we have an agreement with the Premier Inn opposite the church, so you are welcome to park there if needed.

What happens after the service?

Usually, we have tea, coffee, squash and biscuits to serve at the back of the church. If you don't need to rush off, please stay around, as we'd love to meet you and get to know you. Once a month after the service, there is a prayer meeting in the hall which you are welcome to stay for if you wish. See 'Prayer' for more details.

What if I'm late?

Please don't worry at all; just come on in. A friendly church member will be at the door to welcome you and, if needed, point you to where there's a free seat.

Is there disabled access?

Yes, there is step-free access to the church, which is easy for wheelchair users to navigate, and a ramp is available for the small step at the entrance to our church hall.
