Harvest
Our Harvest Service will take place on 4th October at our All age Service at 10am. Any donations of food and toiletries will be donated between East Grinstead Foodbank and Crawley Open House. Crawley Open House has asked particularly for tins or packets of meat, fish, vegetables, soup, beans and fruit, sugar, UHT milk, cereals, rice, instant noodles, cooking sauces, bottles of squash, desserts, coffee/ tea and biscuits. The foodbank particularly needs men's and women's toiletries, household cleaner, cooking oil and longlife milk. |

We will be preparing vegetables for the Community Lunch on Sunday after the All Age Service on 4th October in the hall. All help welcome. |

Funerals
The funeral of Jennifer Marks will take place at St John's Church Felbridge at 1.30pm on Tuesday, 13th October. Church members are more than welcome to join the family for refreshments in the hall after the service. |

Training update from the Safeguarding Team
To staff and volunteer members of
- the PCC, Church Wardens and Deputy Church Wardens
- Leaders and helpers in all Children and Young People’s groups including JAM
- Members of the Pastoral Care Team
Our annual safeguarding training morning will take place on Saturday 3rd October in the church and church hall between 9.30 and noon. Refreshments will be available from 9.15.

Don't miss out on Tearfund's Big Quiz at 7pm on Saturday 28th November
Tea, coffee and cake will be served in the interval. Raffle prizes would be appreciated.
Our previous Quiz nights have been a great success.
