Saturday Breakfasts
At St John's, we put on women's breakfasts once a term on a Saturday morning. This is an opportunity for the women of the church to meet for fellowship and to spend time together in God's Word. We enjoy a bacon breakfast before hearing a talk from the Bible. We also sing, pray and chat about the passage together. This year, the talks are drawing on ideas from Jen Wilkin's book None Like Him. The next women's breakfast will be on 31st January, 9.30-11 am in the church hall. For more information, please contact the church office.

Book Groups
There are currently three women's book groups meeting in different locations, reading the book None Like Him by Jen Wilkin. These meet once a term or once a month; one is a daytime group and two meet in the evening. If you'd like to join a group, please email the church office.

Wreath Making Event
We are holding a wreath-making event on 27th November, 8 pm. All materials will be provided for you to create a wreath for your front door. There will be a demonstration and people on hand to help. We will also have a short interview with a member of the church about what Christmas means to her. Mince pies, mulled wine, festive snacks! Tickets are 1 for £20 or 2 for £35. Email the church office for more information or to book tickets.
