Nick Smith

Responsible for the Monday afternoon service congregation as well as being on the pastoral support team.
Nick is married to Jane and they live in Lingfield. He became a Christian in 1980 and joined St Johns in 2016.
Nick has worked in a number of jobs and careers and is currently a translator. In 2016-17 he felt the call to lay readership and after examination and training, he was licensed in 2021. He has a strong belief in the mainstream biblical Christian faith as it has always been understood historically, as exemplified in the creeds and the 39 Articles. He also has a keen interest in Bible exposition and preaching. Outside of lay readership, Nick enjoys dogs, reptiles, reading and playing organs.
