Women's Ministry

Saturday Breakfasts

At St John's, we put on women's breakfasts once a term on a Saturday morning, in the church hall. This is an opportunity for the women of the church to meet for fellowship and to spend time together in God's Word. We enjoy a bacon breakfast before hearing a talk on a passage or theme from the Bible. We also sing, pray and discuss the teaching together. For more information, please contact the church office.

Book Groups

There are currently three women's book groups meeting in different locations. These provide an opportunity for smaller groups of women to get to know one another better (over a cup of tea and a slice of cake!) as they discuss a Christian book together and chat through how it applies to their lives. These meet once a term or once a month; one is a daytime group, and two groups meet in the evening. If you'd like to join a group, please email the church office.

Wreath-making

We hope to repeat the fun of our last wreath-making event in future years. Watch this space for more information about this or other 'bring a friend' events.
