In the current political climate we pray that the Lord would help us to discern what is biblical and what is not, and what is subject to debate and an agreement to differ. We pray too that the Lord would grant us to think in accordance with Romans 14 and to welcome others who may think differently from us on matters that are not primary Gospel issues.    ::  Prayer

We pray for the new Archbishop of Canterbury, Sarah Mullaly, that God would guide her and use her, and that God would send a worthy successor to Bishop Christopher to be the next Bishop of Southwark. We pray for God’s strength and wisdom for Bishop Rosemarie Mallett as she prepares to be the interim leader of the diocese.    ::  Prayer

We pray for all those returning to schools ,teachers and support staff as well as students , following half term. May each and every individual be refreshed and reenergised for the rest of term leading to Easter. Especially we pray for those facing public examinations in the coming months. As we think on matters educational let us give thanks for the opportunity to learn and the broadening of minds. Around this date in 1455 the Gutenberg Bible was first printed thereby opening the prospect of much bigger numbers of individuals having their own copies and studying your Word for themselves. Today we seek your blessing Lord upon Connections Praise (2pm) and St John’s Online (8pm), those leading as well as each attendee.    ::  Prayer
