Heavenly Father, we thank you for those who lead our small groups. Please would you help them to care well for the people in their groups and to lead them in studying your word faithfully. We pray for the small group leaders meeting this evening and ask that it would be an edifying and encouraging time. We thank you also for the ministry of Connections and those who lead it. Heavenly Father, we pray for the new housing being built in Felbridge. Thank you that you already know who will live in each house. Please would there be some who already know you who choose to make St John’s their home and others to whom we can reach out with the hope of the gospel who will in time come to know you through the ministry of St Johns. Give us wisdom as to how best to reach out to and welcome those who are new to our parish.    ::  Prayer

Please would the diocese look favourably on our expression of interest for a new curate. And please and would you guide the continuing process of the appointment of a new Bishop of Southwark. Please would you provide us with a godly bishop who will lead the diocese faithfully.    ::  Prayer
