Heavenly Father, thank you for our small groups. As they begin meeting for a new term we pray that they would be places where there is great opportunity for fellowship, pastoral care, prayer, and Bible study. Please would out small groups help us to grow as disciples of Jesus in the coming term and please would there be opportunities for those not yet in small groups to join.    ::  Prayer

Heavenly Father, we pray on for your provision of godly leaders for us at St John’s. Please would you guide St John’s in the appointment of someone to lead our youth ministry. Please would the diocese look favourably on our expression of interest for a new curate. And please and would you guide the continuing process of the appointment of a new Bishop of Southwark. Please would you provide us with a godly bishop who will lead the diocese faithfully.    ::  Prayer

Heavenly Father, as JAM restarts this morning, we pray for that ministry. Please would it be well attended and the gospel be made clear. We pray that it would be fun and safe for the babies and toddlers, for good conversations and growing relationships between those from St John’s and those from the wider community and that over time those conversations would be good opportunities for sharing the gospel. Please would JAM act as a stepping stone by which people become part of the church family as St John’s.    ::  Prayer
