Dear Lord, we pray for the team heading for Uganda, Mark & Bethany Francis and Thomas Poole. We thank you for the financial support that Thomas has received from his recent cake sales and walking events, we pray for wisdom that the money will be used wisely. We ask for safety, good travel arrangements, health and protection as they travel around the different locations. We ask all this in Jesus' name.    ::  Prayer

Dear Lord, we ask that you would bring the right person to St John’s to lead the youth ministries in the coming years. Lord, you know the person you have in mind, help us recognise this when opportunity presents itself. Father, we continue to pray for peace around the world. The very utterance of these words on the face of it seems too much to ask and yet, as we reflect on the words from Mark’s gospel “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith” Mark 4 v 40.\nAgain, in the book of Hebrews “Now faith is the confidence in what we hope for and the assurance about what we do not see” Hebrews 11 v 1.\nSo, as we meditate on these words, let us renew our resolve and pray earnestly for peace, in the middle east and Ukraine.
