We pray for all those known to us personally who through their circumstances are suffering from sickness, want or isolation at this time, that the Lord would comfort and warm their hearts at this time, and also grant them company and provide for their needs, especially on Christmas Day.    ::  Prayer

On Christmas Eve, as we think of the tradition of giving presents the following day, we pray for those in our own country and abroad who have little or nothing, including adequate food, clothing and shelter. We ask the Lord that he would provide for the needs of those in this situation, and bless the work of relief agencies and charities, especially the Church Army and the Salvation Army.    ::  Prayer

On this Christmas Day, we praise God for the Incarnation of his Son, and pray again for a renewed understanding and commitment to the Gospel. We also remember the Christmas Day truce of 1914 and pray again for peace on Earth and a lessening of the hatreds that divide people from one another.    ::  Prayer

As we continue to pray that the Lord would work in the “quiet revival” apparently taking place in the churches of the UK, we pray that churches, ministers and all who proclaim the Good News would confine themselves to the Gospel of Christ crucified, without adding extra requirements or subtracting from the message, regardless of political or theological bent.    ::  Prayer

As Bishop Christopher Chessun looks forward to retirement, we pray that the Lord would raise up a worthy successor to him in the midst of these turbulent times in the Anglican Church. We pray also for the new Archbishop of Canterbury, that God would guide her and use her.    ::  Prayer
