We pray for the peace of our nation, which is currently riven by fears for the future and an increasing willingness in some quarters to consider ideas that would once not have been seriously considered. We ask that the Lord would bind those ideas and spirits that would only bring chaos or darkness.    ::  Prayer

As we continue to pray that the Lord would work in the “quiet revival” apparently taking place in the churches of the UK, we pray that churches, ministers and all who proclaim the Good News would confine themselves to the Gospel of Christ crucified, without adding extra requirements or subtracting from the message, regardless of political or theological bent.    ::  Prayer

We pray for Rob, Mary, Hannah and Abi Hindmarch as they start their new life in Kent and Rob begins his first incumbency with the care of three parishes. We ask that the Lord would strengthen them both personally and as a family, and that he would use them to his glory in his service.    ::  Prayer

As we no longer have the Hindmarch family with us, we pray that the Lord would continue both to send us new members and to raise up people among us who are gifted and called to whatever aspect of Christian service within St John’s, to the glory of his Name.    ::  Prayer
